See the cream of the crop of local produce and other items in the open exhibits, which are open to community members. Historically, the exhibits were the highlight of the fair, especially during the Great Depression.

The open exhibits are managed by multiple departments, including farm, home, baking, sewing and crafts and flowers. Community members showcase their prowess in a variety of categories, including things like canning, crops, knitting, photography and more.

Starting with the 2024 fair, submit exhibits via an online form prior to the fair. Multiple exhibits can be submitted, although entrants are limited to one per category. This is intended to speed up the submission process on Thursday.

Submit Exhibits

All exhibits must be delivered between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday. All exhibits will be on the fairgrounds, and exhibits that are grown must be cultivated by the exhibitor if entered for a prize. Each department superintendent will have the option of closing his/her department during judging.

Exhibitors can make only one entry in each class. An exhibitor cannot compete in both collection and class. All prize premium checks must be cashed within 30 days. No merchandise may be offered for sale unless it is first exhibited for a prize. Where there is only one entry, the Fair Committee reserves the right to pay second money.

Entries will be released 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
